FrameRate® Slashes Prices on Millennium

SANDY, UT, December 1, 2003. FrameRate, the leading provider of complete multimedia delivery solutions, announced today a significant across-the-board price reduction on its Millennium Multimedia Management Systems. This price reduction applies to the recently introduced Millennium ContentServer™ MC (multi-channel) and SC (single channel) configurations.

The Millennium ContentServer is FrameRate's Next Generation Technology that provides content authoring, management, storage and distribution services to remote point-of-display systems. Pricing for the ContentServer MC has been reduced 30% from $9,995 to $6,995. This is a 42% price reduction as compared to older Millennium Client-Server technology.

The Millennium ContentServer SC is a single channel version of ContentServer. Pricing for this configuration has been reduced over 30% from $6,995 to $4,775. This is the same price point as the popular Millennium Stand-Alone configuration.

These price reductions are made possible due to the use of powerful web-based technology that reduces development and support costs.

FrameRate's Next Generation Technology offers major advantages over traditional video messaging systems. Most importantly, it uses advanced web-based technology to automate the delivery of content to remote display systems over standard networks. Further, it allows access via any web browser on the network, thereby eliminating the need to load proprietary software on workstations.

"This price reduction reflects our continued commitment to existing and new customers to provide 'best-of-breed' technology for a reasonable price," said James Harvey, President and CEO of FrameRate. "This pricing strategy allows existing Millennium Technology Assurance Program subscribers to move to Next Generation Technology without any additional capital expense."
