FrameRate® Releases New Service Pack SP03501
SANDY, UT, May 6, 2003. FrameRate, the leading provider of
complete multimedia delivery solutions, announced today the release of its
latest Service Pack for its Millennium Multimedia Management System product
line.
This Service Pack is available to FrameRate Technology Assurance
Program subscribers. Key features of this Service Pack are:
- Support for Pioneer DVF07 300 DVD Carousel player and Pioneer V7400
player. Allows automated selection of video on DVD by time code, title, and
chapter. Click

- QuickPost™ utility allows web-accessible emergency message posting. This
is especially useful for situations such as Amber Alerts, school closings,
traffic alerts, etc., that need to be posted without the need for someone to
run back to the office to post the message. (Requires W2K and Microsoft IIS)
- Remote Desktop Access provides ability to view and interact with the
remove system desktop. All remote system functionality is available using this
capability.
- Automatic notification of out-of-date files available for download from
the Service Gateway.
- Enhanced support for web-based control of Display Engine or Stand-Alone
systems over the web (Requires W2K and Microsoft IIS)
- DiaLink™ is now part of the standard software package and no longer an
option. Recent updates include enhancements for use with Windows 2000
operating systems.
- Improved file transfer reliability via updates to EXECAGNT utility.
- Added support for new media file extensions in MediaTrak
- Links to Technical KnowledgeBase updated to refer to web-based
documentation on the FrameRate Service Gateway. With this change, all
documentation is available to registered customers without the need for a
Technology Assurance Program subscription.
