CGLink greatly simplifies posting emergency messages and public announcements on-air over a cable or broadcast television channel.
Until CGLink, placing an emergency message or public announcement on-air required operation of proprietary software located at the cable headend. Only a small number of people were trained to perform this action. The operator, in most cases, had to go to the headend or to their place of work to use the system. Now, with CGLink, the operator can interact with the character generator through an easy-to-use, form-based service from a web site on your internal intranet or the Internet. This makes it easy for emergency service workers to get information out to the public. Instead of hours, messages can be posted in seconds. Click HERE for more information.
